A custom-cut frequency crystal specifically suited to boosting yield when mining for Erratic Ores such as <a href=showinfo:90041>Prismaticite</a> found in Phased Fields. These crystals will deteriorate through extended use. They can only be loaded into modulated mining lasers. Type C crystals are used with modulated mining equipment and provide low yields, very high residues and have very low reliability. They are typically only used for asteroid field clearance purposes.
